Erich Schweighofer is Professor at the University of Vienna and head of the research group on legal informatics. His interdisciplinary teaching and research focusses on computers and law, international and European law, in particular legal information systems, legal tech, AI & law, internet governance, data protection, telecommunications law and competition law. He is the main organizer of the International Law Informatics Symposium IRIS (www.univie.ac.at/RI/IRIS2017<http://www.univie.ac.at/RI/IRIS2017>) and co-editor of the journal Jusletter IT (www.jusletter-it.eu<http://www.jusletter-it.eu>).
